In recession, natural health care options gain ground
A late February story from MSNBC reveals Americans are seeking ways to avoid the high costs associated with traditional doctors' visits and medical tests.
About 25 percent of those surveyed said cost had prevented someone in their family from required health care in the past year. In addition, 19 percent of respondents avoided the doctor for short-term illnesses or preventive care.
The ailing economy seems to have encouraged many people to find alternative ways to stay healthy. In fact, MSNBC reports that natural health care has become a popular option.
One of the best ways to prevent illness and maintain health is to ensure proper nutrition through the use of nutritional supplements.
