What enzymes help with wheat and milk allergies?

An enzyme supplement with a high level of DPP-IV digestive enzymes helps to rapidly digest gluten into non-immunogenic peptides. This helps digest the gluten, found in wheat, and casein, found in milk, both of which are proteins.

In the case of gluten intolerance, individuals with a severe intolerance may also be deficient in lactase and/or maltase, and they often may have damage to the intestinal lining. A broad-spectrum enzyme formulation that contains a protease blend, along with lactase, is recommended. Systemic enzyme therapy is also recommended to support the intestinal lining.
