NutriSol™ Joint Care Plus™ is a highly effective combination of NEM® Eggshell Membrane, which is rich in a chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid and collagen matrix, and serratiopeptidase, a potent enzyme that supports the natural inflammatory process.

When the protective cartilage of the joints deteriorates because of excess irritation from repetitive motion or injury, individuals may experience swelling, pain, impeded mobility and possibly sever disability. Chondroitin sulfate, found in cartilaginous tissue, serves as a substrate in the formation of the joint matrix structure. It protects cartilage against degradation by inhibiting detrimental enzyme activity, as well as increases the synthesis of proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid, which is found throughout the body, acts as a lubricant to maintain the cushioning barriers in joints. It also acts as an antioxidant, modulating the inflammatory process and stimulating tissue repair. Collagen, also in NEM® Eggshell Membrane, is the main protein component of ligaments, tendons, cartilage and other connective tissue.

After only seven days of treatment, clinical studies with NEM® Eggshell Membrane have shown there is statistically significant pain reduction in a variety of joint and connective tissue injuries when 500 mg of the product is taken daily. Pain continued to decrease up to the 30th day of evaluation, when the studies concluded.

Many chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid and collagen products on the market are derived from bovine or shellfish sources. NEM® Eggshell Membrane is free of shellfish and safe from Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy, or BSE. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from the nonpathogenic strain of bacteria known as Serratia E15, which is found in silkworms. It has been successfully used for more than 40 years in Japan and Europe to reduce the pain and inflammation of arthritis, trauma, surgery and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Research and clinical use of serratiopeptidase has proven successful in treating many disorders characterized by acute or chronic inflammation and pain. Serratiopeptidase increases fluid drainage around injured areas and blocks amines, thereby enhancing tissue repair and reducing pain. It also has the unique ability to dissolve dead and damaged tissue, which accelerates the healing process.

Indications: Reduced range of motion, acute or chronic pain associated with joint and connective tissue disorders, osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, sprains and torn ligaments, fibromyalgia, lupus and other post-traumatic inflammation.
