The hands on B.E.S.T. technique for natural healing
The B.E.S.T. technique comprises three approaches for natural healing: B.E.S.T. Release, B.E.S.T. Physical and B.E.S.T. Emotional. As a whole, the modality is described as a non-forceful, hands-on method that seeks to restore the body’s energy balance and natural healing abilities. The basic principle behind the system is that certain types of interference – bad memories, for example – can lead to poor health over time. B.E.S.T., which stands for Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique, seeks to interrupt unhealthful neurological patterns and restore health.
The stretching techniques used in B.E.S.T. are dubbed mPower March and B.E.S.T Release. The mPower stretches are designed to restore muscle balance, while B.E.S.T. Release incorporates an emotional component. The inclusion of conscious thought and memory in the Release portion helps the patient focus on the present rather than the past. The intention is to help the patient realize how physical complaints might be connected to emotions.
In B.E.S.T. Physical, light pressure is applied to the body to address imbalances. The technique helps remove spinal muscle spasms, vertebral subluxation and nerve pressure, according to Morter HealthSystem. Last, B.E.S.T. Emotional goes back to the core of the system, as it seeks to free patients from nagging memories that might be interfering with their health. The idea is that emotions such as anxiety, fear or judgment overtake memory patterns, preventing wellness and interfering with natural healing. Similar to the above practices, this “advanced” method helps patients identify emotions, “update” interferences and live in the present.
