Iridology
Iridology is the practice of analyzing the iris, the colored part of the eye surrounding the pupil, to learn about the body’s inner workings. Markings on the iris – fibers, colors, patterns or defects – are believed to reveal health conditions or organ disorders. Iridologists claim they can identify the following:
- An overall picture of patient wellness
- The potential for future health problems
- The existence of toxins
- Inflammatory conditions
- Biochemical deficiencies
