ONDAMED

ONDAMED® is a biofeedback device that employs sound and electromagnetic pulse in therapy. As with other biofeedback devices, the goal of ONDAMED is to engage the body’s autonomic nervous system (ANS), which controls heart rate, digestion, breathing and other seemingly unconscious functions.

With the device around a patient’s neck and a probe in hand, practitioners use the battery-powered ONDAMED to administer the aforementioned sound frequencies and magnetic pulses. Then, practitioners monitor the ANS response to therapy and communicate these findings back to patients. Through this process, use of biofeedback information helps patients return to a state of better health. ONDAMED, Inc. claims the device can help promote relaxation, pain relief and muscle re-education, as well as possibly improve immune system health.
