Designed with the naturopathic practitioner in mind, there are several Vega devices for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The two diagnostic products are VegaCheck and VegaTest, while three devices intended for therapy include VegaMed Matrix, VegaSelect and Vega Audiocolor. The Vega platforms function using principles of electro-acupuncture along with corresponding software programs.

First, the VegaCheck uses six electrodes to measure seven parameters of the body. Any disturbance in the flow of electrical energy informs the practitioner of potential ailments, and graphical displays pinpoint affected organs. Through its assessment of the body’s “metabolic rhythms,” the VegaCheck also evaluates patients’ overall vitality. This vitality rating can then be used to track the progress of therapeutic protocols.

Next, the VegaTest, an electrodermal screening device, evaluates the nutritional and health status of patients, as well as recommends therapies. Among its many functions, the VegaTest assesses the body’s energy balance and provides energy for acupuncture points.

In the therapeutic category, the VegaMed Matrix works on the connective tissue of the body to promote wellness. The product uses a hand-held suction probe to perform therapies dubbed “petechial suction massage,” “rhythmic direct-current” and “systems information” with the goal of regenerating the connective tissue matrix. These techniques, the manufacturer claims, help rid the body of metabolic waste, address the effects of chronic inflammation and support immune function. The goal is to detoxify the body and promote natural healing.

Also for therapy, VegaSelect incorporates “systems information” from above to stimulate immune system function. It also features a magnetic field device that supports pain reduction. Last, the Vega Audiocolor employs color and sound therapy to strengthen patients’ resistance to environmental pollution and help them cope with daily stress.
